Our annual Spring storytime with Time Out Kids is taking place this Friday, March 25th  at Virgin Megastore Yas Mall.  Get ready for an amazing action-packed morning with a storytime session featuring the classic “Guess How Much I love You” by Sam McBratney along with some fun activities. Guess who will be returning to make his guest-star appearance? None other than Magic Phil! Can’t wait to see what tricks he has up his sleeve. What fun would a party be without some yummy treats? We’ve got you covered with the most delicious brownies in town, the Legendary Oushe brownies by Oushe Gourmet Bakeshop, along with some fresh juices from Barakat. Don’t miss out and bring the kids along for a fun-filled morning to kickstart the weekend.

Waqt al Hikaya

We’re so proud to announce our very first Arabic Storytime, Waqt al Hikaya, taking place this Saturday, March 19th at Virgin Megastore Sahara Centre. In partnership with the Arab Reading Challenge and Kalimat Publishing, the event aims to emphasize the importance of reading but will particularly highlight the Arab culture, language and literature. The event will include two Arabic book readings by TV Presenter Safia AlShehi and MBC 3 Kids TV Presenter Maha al Hamed. There will also be a puppet show and arts and crafts activities sponsored by the Sharjah Ladies Club and UAEBby, an organization that seeks to promote international understanding through children’s books. And of course tons of yummy treats as well from Oushe and juice from Barakat. As this event coincides with the upcoming Mother’s Day, we’ve also partnered up Dumye and the first 20 children…

Take a walk down memory lane at #BringTheGoodVibesBack on Friday, March 4th, 2016 from 2-10pm at Al Serkal Avenue. Bite back into the 80s and 90s with excitement, nostalgia – or a bit of both – during a day of good humored fun. The event will bring together a delicious childhood comfort food market to wake your taste buds and will feature activity stations for adults and children, a line up of musicians and DJs playing old school songs, a barber shop and a pop-art nail bar, video arcade, a vintage music shop and much more; all a tribute to street art and culture from the 80s and 90s. We’ll be there ourselves with our retro-esque display. Can’t wait to see you there! Last but not least, the “Charity Laundromat” will be collecting donations of unused clothes so the community…
